Document the full transformation of Frenchman’s Reef and Buoy Haus, from redevelopment to reopening, across multiple locations, stakeholders, and delivery formats under a tight timeline.
This project spanned more than a month of production across five states and the U.S. Virgin Islands, including multiple trips to St. Thomas. We conducted on camera interviews with key leadership and contributors, including the CEO, project architect, and the Governor of the Virgin Islands, while capturing extensive b roll of both resorts post renovation and during the grand opening events. Coverage included speeches, guests, food, performances, local culture, and environmental context to fully represent the reopening moment. Post production combined newly captured footage with the client’s archival material to tell a complete before and after story of the resort’s redevelopment. We delivered 11 documentary versions along with over 10 social and short form edits, supported by detailed sound design, motion graphics, animated logos, and structured storytelling. The final media was used across social channels, investor presentations, conferences, and internal communications, and the collaboration led to a long term working relationship with both the resort’s in house marketing teams and Fortress’s broader hospitality portfolio.
